People Getting Stabbed In Medieval Art Who Just Don’t Give a Damn

Medieval manuscripts were the imageboards of their day, full of murderous illustrations, however for some strange reason many people look as if they were bored with life anyway and their killer did them a service. Scroll down to see the funniest examples of medieval art where people are getting stabbed but just don’t give a damn.

He doesn't mind being killed.

He's OK with being killed.

He doesn't mind being killed.

Don't worry, she doesn't mind.

I really don’t think the paintings are about honoring death. That was an earlier time period when men were more willing to die in battle.

Those paintings are not even representing any kind of an honorable battle scene.

I don’t think any man would issue a painting like these to honor himself, there to goofy and senseless.
And men were becoming wicked and started folliwing cults, and the churches were killing anyone who had ideas that were different then theirs in time period.
It wasn’t very honorable times back then.

But the paintings definitely mean something.
I’m sure its something sinister that had to do with secret groups.

Apparently back then they had Botox so potent that you could be in excruciating pain and not manifest it.

The saints were often shown with the things that killed them, so you find portraits where they’re just standing there with a knife in them, kinda chillin.

Bad artists and painters being influenced to show stoicism in death because it advances the word of God (all gods).

  26. The Phantom October 29, 2019

Hi, it’s me, “The Phantom.” Let’s get back to lame human rights and “Geneva Act” and UN. They’re all lousy. Lousy, I tell ya. We need to get back to the days where you could execute hundreds of Saracens for sitting on the Holy Land and be declared a saint. And then get stabbed while smiling. Them’s were the days. These days when you go around trying to mow down people in a church, it’s all “GENEVA ACT!”

  27. jkjkj November 1, 2019

It’s because of the low grade drawing skill

  28. Earache November 5, 2019

They can’t be Photoshopped as Photoshop hadn’t been invented back then.

    Maybe the swords are metaphors.

  30. me November 12, 2019

where is the 1st one from

  31. Anonymous November 27, 2019

Priest with the knife in his head is St. Peter of Verona, the woman with the sword through her neck is St. Lucy, and the bishop with the four soldiers stabbing him in the head while he is kneeling at prayer is St. Thomas a Becket.

Not 100% sure on the rest.
