Woman Sets Up Bird Feeder Cam In Her Yard, The Photos Are Extraordinary

Lisa who goes by the name @ostdrossel on Instagram has always been fascinated by nature and different bird types. So she came up with a brilliant idea: she uses a bird feeder cam, which consists of a camera box, a macro lens, and an attachable bird feeding platform. The camera is tiny and equipped with a motion sensor so that when a bird comes to eat, it photographs birds a non-intrusive way. Scroll down to see the best pictures!

  1. Does anyone know how to set this up? What kind of camera and such…? I would love to do this in my yard.

  2. Last guy looks like he’s hungover and pissed that you’re photographing him while he’s just trying to eat some breakfast ^-^ love the photos!

  3. Care Bear: You can get trail cameras at a lot of places (Cabela’s, probably even Walmart) and online. They’re motion-activated, and you can set them up to take snaps at different intervals. I would imagine traffic from a bird feeder would fill up the SD card pretty quickly.

  4. These are fantastic photo captures. Very impressive to say the least. I’d love to have a bird feeder, but we have a gazillion squirrels who would scarf up every bit of it. Maybe I’ll try and see what happens.
