Mickey Mouse Used To Look Really Creepy

When the iconic Mickey Mouse was born, he was maybe not-quite-so-loveable. Some even described his look as creepy or disturbing. It would take a few years before Mickey’s look was locked down. These interesting pictures shown here document Mickey’s look when he made his first appearances trough the first part of the 20th century.

  3. This is why stuff like WWII and polio didn’t scare this generation. Their childhood icons were the stuff of nightmares.

  4. How are the children in the photos not terrified!?
    I’m gonna have nightmares tonight

  5. I’m glad they changed the design of Mickey and Minnie mouse, i would be traumatized if I was at Disney World at those times and I saw those creatures who don’t even look like mice
