It is a shame to profit from these images since most are not of goats climbing trees “naturally” (as they sometimes do), but of goats being inhumanely “placed” into the trees by farmers wishing to get tips from tourists as they photograph them. Often, the goats are standing on makeshift platforms of branches for hours in the hot Moroccan sun with no food or water. Some actually fall and are injured. It is sad to see this calendar encourage this behavior by selling these images or paying the farmer to take photos of these goats and perpetuating the misconceptions. I recently visited and saw this for myself as our tour guide told us the true story of this type of scenario showing a whole grouping of goats in one tree (and guys standing by waiting to get tips from tourists).
