The Best of #CatBeards Instagram Trend

Don’t freak out if you see a friend upload a photo of him/her -self with a massive beard, which, at a second glance, looks oddly similar to a cat. This is all a part of an Instagram trend #CatBeards. The trick is to have your feline friend in front and covering half of your face – and when the cat looks up, its chin and neck looks like a massive beard on your face.

  1. I’m here for those tiny noses, the whisker pads, the upside down mouth, and little chins! Not to mention the blast of whiskers!

  2. Most of these turned out great! Trying to get a notoriously stubborn animal to cooperate with a photo session really shows the strength of the bond these humans have with their cats. Sadly, this post went for quantity over quality. The girls with their cats placed perfectly horizontally, yet their own heads tilted, really took me out of the illusion.
It could have been worse, however! At least no one used a hairless cat! That would have just been terrifying! And gross! Even worse would have been old vsld men dangling hairless cats between their legs!

  3. Has no one done dog beards, yet? Especially with their tongues hanging out? Floppy ears down or pointy ears as sideburns?
