Asher Perlman is an Emmy-nominated, WGA award-winning, Peabody-award winning comedian, writer, actor, and cartoonist. He’s also currently a writer and performer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, so overall a very talented guy. Well, this explains why Colbert is unfunny. This “humor” was stale, aggressively uncontroversial, and overall was just a series of observations on old sayings. I would describe this sort of “joke” as the pun’s special needs cousin.
