It’s a well known fact that Vladimir Putin is strongly against the LGTBQ community and being gay in Russia is not just complicated, it’s dangerous. “Gay propaganda” is prohibited, and that includes rainbows. Putin a Rainbow site however thinks that rainbows are beautiful and that the world looks much better with more rainbows, not less. The punishment for offenders who distribute, retweet or share these images in Russia is 15 days in prison or a fine of 3,000 rubles.
I wonder what each of us is not allowed to see in our own countries. For China it would be Tiannenmen Square and I know the US has pulled access to RT website. But how do we know what we can’t see when we don’t even know about it??
