Russian Veterans Celebrate The Annual Paratroopers’ Day

Russian airborne troops had their own holiday during the Soviet era, which continues to be celebrated on 2 August. During this holiday veterans remember their fallen comrades, bathe in public fountains, and consume large quantities of alcohol.
