I think this is horrible! Why do this to these poor animals? Cats are beautiful and shouldn’t be subject to this. Some people really need to get a life!😡😡😡

This is animal abuse! The owners should be thrown in a prison!
That is also dangerous since hair is the first barrier against diseases in cats!

My cat loves the groomer clipping him. He smooches up to her the whole time. Never uses sedation. I wouldn’t do it if my cat showed signs of distress. But he loves it & plays like a kitten afterwards. 💜💜💜
I’ll keep clipping him while he likes it. 😀👍
People need to lighten up a bit.

My cat has to be shaved once a year his hair gets so matted he cant groom himself and he hates getting it cut and I hate having to take him there but I wouldn’t do this and turn him into a freak show

  5. Anonymous July 11, 2019

They sure don’t look happy about it.

  6. Kim Lauritsen July 12, 2019

These animals are not your accessories. What a narcissistic, stupid thing to do.

  7. Anonymous July 14, 2019

I feel sorry for the cats who had to endure this

  8. Anonymous August 14, 2019

Of course a stupid trend like that would come from Instagram. Bunch of f**king idiots with zero brain cells.

  9. Anonymous August 21, 2019

I have a long haired cat who does not like to be brushed, and by July, if we didnt shave her, she would be matted and tangled and a mess. The fur felts up under her tail, and in her joints, so she ends up stuck together.
I could put up with the hairballs but when she cannot clean herself, something needs to be done.
She gets shaved usually mid June, and has lots of places to curl up and nap inside and outside, in the sun and shade.

It’s faux-hawk (like Mohawk) not phoa hock lolololol

  11. Anonymous September 6, 2019

That one cat looks like a sliced loaf of bread mid-fall! lol

  12. Anonymous September 6, 2019

I think it is freaking adorable

  13. Anonymous November 11, 2019

for those saying animal abuse can you please get a grip! is it animal abuse when a show poodle gets shaved down and has longer fur in some places for style??

  14. Anonymous November 11, 2019

I love my fur baby’s I’m a proud mamma fur. The kitty are not in pain it does not physically harm them so what’s the freeking problem. I wouldn’t do it to my snow bungalow or British blue… but each time their own. X

  15. Anonymous November 12, 2019

The comments on here, haha. Cats go to groomers all the freaking time and get their hair trimmed. That’s not new. Leaving little bits on it doesn’t suddenly make it “animal abuse.” ;-)

  16. Victoria-Ann Bonanni November 12, 2019

THIS is blatant animal abuse! Owners should be prosecuted AND the people who do it!

  17. Victoria-Ann Bonanni November 12, 2019

I don’t care about painless decoration; it’s not NATURAL and it’s being done for entertainment. Your pet is not a source of ENTERTAINMENT any more than a circus elephant!

  18. Billie November 13, 2019

I think this is abuse! STOP IT!

  19. J b November 13, 2019

Disgusting what humans will do animals

  20. BeyondFealty November 13, 2019

(Almost ) everyone commenting here is an idiot. Animal abuse?? China! THAT is animal abuse. Not a funky haircut. For entertainment? That makes it abuse?? Then all the halloween costumes for pets should be banned and all you outraged idiots should picket at your local pet stores. Dressing up in costumes is for entertainment right? MUST be abuse….. smh
Get over it and start focusing on the things that actually matter, or address the ACTUAL animal abuse in the world.

I shave my cat entwine a year and he freaking loves it! He’s so sweet and acts so much more playful when it’s done

  22. Tammy November 13, 2019

I think it’s adorable. Love the various cuts. The colors are a little much though.

  23. Anonymous November 13, 2019

It’s off putting. And do they drug the cats to get them still enough for this? And maybe pet groomers don’t have to take a pledge to do no harm, but maybe they should.

  24. Anonymous November 13, 2019

This is just wrong and the coloring on the cat is even worse! Poor cats and they may not like it either?! 😳🐈

  25. Anonymous November 14, 2019

Cute it doesn’t hurt the cats Dogs do it all the time this is equal opportunity!

  26. Tammy November 14, 2019

How would these so call humans like it if we did this to them!

  27. Anonymous November 14, 2019

Cats are one of the few animals that can recognize themselves in a mirror. If you put a mark on a cat that can only be seen in the mirror the cat will try to get it off. That is your cat cares what it looks like. Don’t be mean to your cat.

  28. Stacie Emmerich November 14, 2019

I love it!! And so does my 3 year old…

  29. Kara November 14, 2019

I am a groomer and I love doing these on cats who are maintained on a six week basis with a water bath. Yes. Its possible. Yes, thats what should happen. You try this in a cat or dog who hasn’t been groomed for 3 years and its their first time and you are set up for disaster. Please educate yourselves before you think this is cruel. These animals have better care than the matted mess you think is cute fluffy.

  30. Diane November 14, 2019

I like the look. It’s unique and artistic. However it does look better on some of the cats then others. I would definitely stop to feel a cat with one of these cuts. If it causes a health problem that would be different. Otherwise it looks great

  31. Denise November 14, 2019

Society has gone insane. This is a form of abuse. Cats are beautiful and have fur for a reason. This looks ridiculous and a true cat lover would never do this.

  32. Anonymous November 14, 2019

    They look stupid

  33. Anonymous November 14, 2019

I personally like my cat with the coats God gave them. Grooming is important especially for long haired fur babes

  34. Tracyann November 14, 2019

I think this is unnatural, ridiculous and not one of these cats looks comfortable with what a human has done to their bodies for their own gratification!

  35. Anonymous November 14, 2019

Sorry I would not do this to my cats. To each their own but I don’t care for this.

  36. Anonymous November 14, 2019

Sick and degrading to the poor cats

  37. Anonymous November 14, 2019

    A cat is not a plant .

  38. David November 15, 2019

People who think it hurts the cat is truly stupid. I have a full breed ragdoll. She’s a mountain of fur and I started cutting her hair for health reasons. She was having too many problems with hairballs in the vet recommended. The vet and vet tech laugh their butt off when they saw her come dinosaur looking. She loves it and is more energetic after getting groomed

  39. Anonymous November 15, 2019

Most ridiculous thing I’ve seen in a long time.

  40. free4u2nv November 15, 2019

    cool!

  41. Sara November 15, 2019

Omg I just knew there were going to he negative Nancys posting negative comments. 🤣 it’s a haircut my goodness. It’s not harming the cat in anyway. Dogs go all the time to grromers and get primped up for shows so what’s the big difference?

  42. Anonymous November 15, 2019

This is not cute, it is not adorable and it is not ok. If you are a pet owner and doing this, grow up. If you need a toy or a bear then go to build a bear and leave the animal alone. If you are unable to love and care for the animal as they were created then you have no business being a pet owner. If you are a groomer doing this, shame on you. That makes makes you cheap and unethical for monitizing a service based on the ill informed whims of mass society. It is wrong…..stop it!

  43. Anonymous November 15, 2019

Unnecessary. You can tell on one of the pictures that the cat is cold.

  44. LE November 15, 2019

WRONG. Fur coats serve many purposes. Not this

  45. CC November 15, 2019

My cat is always wanting to get warmer. It seems this would make cats cold.

  46. Nikim November 16, 2019

So wrong on all levels 😡

  47. Bella November 16, 2019

I don’t think this is cute. Cats have fur for a reason! It doesn’t keep getting longer so why cut it?

  48. Anonymous November 16, 2019

I agree with the cuts because some breeds NEED them.. And there is nothing wrong with having a bit of fun with the style..

I am, however, conflicted with the fur dyeing…

    Not Pro, nor Con.. Conflicted.

I think it would be VERY cute and funny to have my Tux (Tuxedo kitty) have a white stripe down her back looking like Pepe Le’pue in the cartoons…
(And TRUST ME!! She has the attitude for it!!! 😽😻😸😼

  49. Anonymous November 16, 2019

Maybe why the one cat is contemplating taking up drinking

  50. Brittany November 16, 2019

This is disgusting and not right. Their hair serves a very important purpose and you are altering these cats body temperature and it’s not good for the.
