Charlie Hankin is a writer and cartoonist living in Los Angeles. He is the author of animation series The Summoner that’s available on Peacock and he is also making cartoons for The New Yorker. The cat reading by the fireplace has a wall behind it with Many empty trophy places. They are MT cuz cats Eat what they catch. There’s nothing left to mount. We’ve had LOT of cats. D

Anonymous the last one with the laser dots ? to me shows all the labor dots he caught ….and then he had the dot’s mountain like trophies
If you look at the trophies the cat has collected they are all the red dots that he has caught. If you have a cat you have a light that shines a red dot for the cat to chase.
Like the famous Larson, these make you think before they make you laugh.

P.S. Lovvvvvvved CatMan. Reminds me of a comic who told of her cat dying, but as she said, the cat already slept for 23 hours a day, so now it’s like it’s just sleeping 24 hours a day. In a sunny spot, we hope. A lot of people couldn’t see the red spots on the trophies of the cat. You have to enlarge the cartoon a bit to see them. Tyrannosaurus with lipstick grows on you, so to speak…
