America and Europe share many similarities in culture. That being said, there are some glaring differences that are fun to point out. The broad generalization is that Europeans have refined cultural tastes, whereas Americans are a bit more brash and believe that bigger is always better. Being Canadian I don’t get why American can’t comprehend most of these. Many are normal in Canada
PG, I took a road trip to Canada and they weren’t so polite when I drove on the left side of the road. Don’t all countries that the have Queen on their money do that?
As an American, I can tell that is a VAG stick shift. Also, Canadians invented the automatic transmission.
As an American, I comprehend all of these. It’s called education. Plus many of these I’ve used, like the clothesline, drying rack, etc. And the window thing? Kind of weird to open into the room and take up space, and not have a screen to keep out bugs.
I’m an American and I could not comprehend a single one of these! Public transportation? Air-dried laundry!? Soccer?! Affordable healthcare!??! International standard units of measurement for time and distance?!!?!? What is this madness?????? I’ll stick with my freedom, thank you very much!
