I may be putting on my tinfoil hat here, but I believe the Bratz phenomenon in the 2000s foreshadowed fashion and makeup trends in the late 2010s. Remember in the early 2010s when a few women in the world were known as the “real life” human Barbies? Well, the Kardashians, especially Kylie Jenner are real life human Bratz dolls and I don’t think it is a coincidence. Kylie Jenner and most young women today probably grew up playing with Bratz dolls and most likely wanted to be like them when they grow up and made it a reality, thanks to Instagram filters and lip fillers. I didn’t because I was too old and preferred Barbies and video games.
