Cat Backpack That Looks Like a Real Live Cat

If you’ve been here long enough, you know just how much we love cat related content on this site. This time around it’s this incredible cat shaped backpack, and it’s made to look just like a real live cat! If you don’t feel like strapping your own cat to your back and have him hold your belongings in his paws, this cat backpack may be a great alternative!

The cat shaped backpack is a creation of the twitter user picopoco08, who made a small run of the cat backpacks and sold them on their shop here. Currently they’ve stated that they are not accepting new orders for the bag, but will make a new post on their Twitter and Instagram pages when they do have new cat backpacks for sale.

The back of the cat backpack has a large zipper opening that lets you store tons of your belongings inside of it. Plus since the zipper opening is along the cat’s back, no one will really see that it’s an actual bag and not a real cat! We can’t imagine the amount of people that will want to stop and pet the cat that’s strapped to your back if you were to wear this in public anywhere!

The cat backpack features 3 harness loops where you attach the backpack straps, so when you’re not wearing it around on your back, you can release the straps and put the faux cat anywhere you like. Since the product listing is no longer on their website, there’s no word on what actually comes with the cat backpack, but we can only assume it comes with the detachable backpack straps.

Not only does that cat work as a handy and funny backpack to hold your belongings, but it also has posable arms and legs. This way you can have the cat holding an item while he’s strapped to your back, or detach the backpack straps and pose the cat in different positions for funny photo opportunities.

  1. I worry what this is made of – if it’s coming from China , it probably is cat!

  2. @jenny smedley….
Of course it is made from a real cat…
    Anything else would be cheap.
    Taxidermy all the way.

The same company that produces this bag now also promised to produce “fanny bags” in the near future as well ;)

  3. Not matter where these cat backpacks were made, one thing is for sure, they’re made from a better material than Jenny Smedley. I worry about what Jenny is made of, cos she smells strongly of racist pig.

  4. And why aren’t fanny packs shaped like real fannies, US or UK? US to wear in the back, UK to wear in the front.

  5. Because, Tea, if it were in front, it would be a FUPA pack, and no one wants to see that!

  6. It is common knowledge that the Chinese have a…uhm..let’s say a slightly different relationship to animals like cats and dogs than we do in the west. This is a well documented fact, and if being factual is racism, I am a racist. I do however not treat people differently based on their ethnicity, which I previously thought was what racism is. Thanks to you I’ve learned that’s not the case, and I now see the error of my ways.

  7. I’m not gonna say anything meaningful, but I like the chain of anti on the name. Can we keep this going?

  8. It is not a real cat, it’s very, VERY obviously plush. It’s made from faux fur, a foam core sculpted face, resin eyes, sculpy paw pads and nose, and air brushed markings done with fabric safe paint. Ya’ll just want to be racist– and yes, by stereotyping, you are being racist.

  9. So, Anti Anti Smedley, by your reasoning, because it’s a well documented fact that white Americans used to own slaves, I can then also assume that the white people we see nowadays are also pro-slavery? As the above comment said, that’s stereotyping, thus Jenny Smedley is racist.

  10. Shoot. My comment didn’t post. Anyway, go to the website. The current bag is a black cat. Click on the first photo of the 2nd row. It might be a bit too real for some.

  11. Cats and dogs are a food source for some cultures. In the US, we stock our freezers with birds, pigs and cows.

  12. @Jenny Smedley sucks: You could assume what you assume only if the Chinese had some sort of radical break with their past practices – like a brutal civil war that put a stop to them. Otherwise you’d be wrong. Which you are.

For all you woke people, frantically paving the road to hell with your good intentions, know this: trivializing racism, which you are doing by constantly extending what it means, you’re actually hiding it. If everything’s racist, then nothing is. But racism still exists. It’s just that you’re helping making it stronger.

  13. I keep coming back to this page cuz they’re so cute! The expression on the cat in the very first photo is like, “Yeah, so, um…this is my life now”.

  14. I could just say that all racist Americans are immigrants themselves, so they should bugger off their own continent if they have immigrants that much. Their ancestors were colonists or criminals transported over because the British wanted them out the island.

  15. Well, I am a white male. So, I must be a racist. I’m a teacher. Guess what the kids say to me when I tell them they are too loud and need to be quiet? “You’re a racist.” They really don’t even know what the names mean that they call people. Like the woke. Oh, and they love to call people a Nazi. I’m a Republican, so I’ve been called a Nazi. Well, so was my grandpa who fought for the English in WWI. And so was my dad who fought for the US in WWII. He’s a Republican, so he must be a racist Nazi. People, especially younger people, love to throw those labels out there… we gotta make sure we paint everyone with ugly colors.
