World’s Oldest Cat Turns 31 And Still Has Many Lives Left

This cheerful kitty, who is currently the world’s oldest cat, has just celebrated his 31st birthday (that’s an equivalent of 141 in human years!). His name is Nutmeg and he chose his humans by showing up in their backyard many years ago. Nutmeg’s owners describe him as follows:

He rules the house and he’s absolutely gorgeous. Nutmeg is not our cat, we are his humans and he never lets us forget that. Maybe that is the secret to his long and happy life.

He is spoilt rotten… He comes in every morning at five am and we get up and feed him.

Last year Nutmeg suffered from a serious stroke, but now he is up again.
