  1. The first image of a child with a handgun is very badly photoshopped. I known it’s trying to be funny but I honestly don’t like the message or the quality. Fail!

  2. Why would they need to photoshop an image? Its stock photography, you can pay people peanuts to pose any way you want. How hard would it have been to get a kids to hold an unloaded stage prop and get that shot?

  3. The first image is great. This child seems to be crying because he shot his idiotic family member who left an unsecured weapon within reach of the child. It happens way too often in the US; and in most jurisdictions, the weapon owner is not prosecuted.

  4. Yes, the ‘very badly photoshopped’ slander on any topic you dont like to try and discredit it. Ten seconds of google show that its part of a series. Were they all ‘badly’ photoshopped? You realise that you add to the ‘fake news’ problem by claiming everything is fake, right?

  5. I’ve been a designer for 30 years. Back in the day, the pickings for stock art were slim and expensive, but they were high quality. It’s only been since the proliferation of $5 image sites that you start seeing this absolute crap. Any Eastern European dork with a digital camera can post tons of junk photos of his girlfriend looking “sexy” or his buddies posing as experts with dollar-store hard hats against a green screen or on the fringes of work sites.

The worst part about GettyImages buying iStock was that the photographers used to write their own captions, and with English as their obvious 2nd language, they were pretty hilarious. Makes slogging through thousands of images a little funnier though.
