This is not fair! Cats body temperatures are controlled by their fur! I’m sure there’s a reason for fashion and glamour but, dogs maybe can tolerate it! MY CATS DONT LIKE CHANGE AND IVE HAD LOTS BOTH FERRAL AND INDOOR; but, change a outside bed or move their spot in the house YOULL see an animal become intimated and not be “ COMFORTABLE IN THEIR OWN SKIN. Bad enough , house cats become declawed like ours and then find him dumped or run away by past owner start ing — I would think the fur protects them too from biting by fleas, ticks, spiders and if outdoors could be easy prey for coyotes and dogs or a severe scratch from a cat fight— even in play! THEY ONE OF NATURES MOST INTELLIGENT SENSITIVE ANIMAL; why would you UPSET THEIR LIVES JUST FOR YOUR SELF GAIN???? THINK ABOUT IT!

Surely if you’re not committed to care, brush daily and keep a long haired cats special coat needs then either get a short haired cat or just don’t get one. I hope this poor cat’s environment is waŕm enough as cats control their temperature via their coat and will get chilled/cold with no insulation without their coats. These ownrrs are ignorant a cat is not a fashio statement to be dresed up, declawed(barbaric practice), or shaved to be laughed at. A cat is a feeling, living animal still wild at heart so for gods sake leave it that way, if you want something to play with and “fiddle” with get a teddy ffs.

I’m a groomer, and we have many strays around the neighborhood, I just recently started catching them, and grooming them with strange designs feed them and set them free! I even started naming them as I see them around the neighborhood and the neighbors have a ball with my artwork!

I did groom number #4. three years ago in my pet grooming shop. I’m a certified feline master groomer. This cat belongs to my salon manager and is completely relaxed for grooming. I only do this groom on compliant cats. Whole groom process took me less than 45min bath Included. I’m fast and many of these grooms were done by certified feline master groomers inside cat only grooming salons.

Cat’s hair is for protection of their body skin.
Stop Playing and be serious owner.

My long haired cat;Edgar would bite me if I did this to him…. and I don’t blame him one bit!! Lol

That’s disgraceful, where these people where the cats have feelings too, I don’t know which is worse, dressing them up and close are those ridiculous haircuts I don’t even have words for Harley

Although yeah some of them look “neat”. I don’t like it and would not do it to any cat here especially now that the weather has turned colder. The ferral cats in my area have a hard time kepn warm at night and a cut like this would pretty much cause the poor things to die from hypothermia.

  12. Anonymous November 18, 2019

Although they look cool, I would not do any of these to my cat…especially the ones that take all of the fur instead of leaving a thin layer for a little warmth…the one that was dyed, I hope its a wash out dye otherwise that to me is abuse especially side effects of the dye. Nope would not do it!!!!

I feel sorry for these poor cats! They were beautiful before they did this to them. Some of the cats look mad, and I don’t blame them! 😠😤😫

Just a big fat NO ! I think it’s cruel they have a full coat of fur for a reason …….. to keep them warm and to protect them these cosmetic stunts are wrong just WRONG & CRUEL 🤬🤬🤬 ♥️🐾

  15. Chill out November 19, 2019

They didnt get hurt..looks like their all cozy in nice warm homes…ppl shave animals all the time…especially in summer, I dont know that a cat is caring at all if it gets to be a dinosaur for a bit!

Animal cruelty comes to mind, Just a bunch of loser cat minders/owners who lack their own creativity. I may have some empathy if the owners cut their hair in the same way.

  17. Anonymous November 19, 2019

Those cats don’t look happy- mine have a lot of dignity and would never let you get that close with clippers😝

  18. Anonymous November 19, 2019

I think cats look much better with their full body of fur. Why would you want them to look like something they aren’t? The reason you probably wanted them was because they look like cats, they are cats, and not dinosaurs!

  19. Anonymous November 19, 2019

    Freakin stupid as hell

  20. Anonymous November 20, 2019

Don’t ask us, ask the cats! Do these cats look happy? The people here don’t have any interest in the emotional well-being of their cat :(

  21. Tina November 20, 2019

    That’s terrible

  22. Anonymous November 20, 2019

    But they’re cats!

  23. Barbara November 22, 2019

Being a cat owner and with an AS in Veterinarian Technology. This is animal cruelity. Only reason to shave a cat is because of mate that can hold onto bacteria. It takes months for it to grow back. They need their the to regulate temp, and moisture to keep their skin healthy. This trend is the most asinine thing I have seen.

  24. Anonymous November 22, 2019

    POOR CATS 😭

  25. Anonymous November 23, 2019

I shave my cat twice a year . Otherwise he’s constantly vomiting up fur balls . He’s much happier with his shaved coat he thrives on the attention he gets when friends come over and make a fuss .

  26. Unnamed December 3, 2019

Cut your own hair like that … then see if-furr happy!

  27. Don G February 19, 2020

I love the real dinosaur cuts but it seems like a good cut would take a lot of time. I do know that a shaved dog or cat should not be allowed in the sun for any length of time because they will “burn” just like a human, so one should be careful about that. I don”t believe a cat or dog gives a damn one way or the other how their hair is cut, as long as their owners keep them free of flees and other skin disorders. This is NOT animal cruelty unless one gives such a hair cut and then turns the animal loose to fend on it’s own. Of course, if I saw a “dragon” cat running loose in my neighborhood, I would immediately have a bowl of food out and offer a warm bed and it would be MINE !!

    That’s just wrong!
