<a href="#comment-1063" rel="nofollow">@Stupid American </a>
But mom must be feeling pretty terrible considering that Frank is now making sweet love to her husband... Book doesn't say anything about that.
...and what happens when dad dumps Frank for some other guy just like he did with mommy? I must say that the dad doesn't seem to be the most faithful type.
Also it's sad that there's a market big enough to make it profitable to print such stories.

@Mighty Jim - what do you find strange about it? It may not be the most well-written (granted it is translated), but it seems ok. The jilted mom seems remarkably well adjusted and understanding about the whole situation, but it is clearly intended to help a child see what happened to his family in a non-confrontational way.

it is not bizarre!
it's really educative for children. a nice way to introduce the concept of homossexuality.
very good!

Number 5 is actually a, real supermodel, like one of the super-supers (Vogue cover girl and favourite). Her name is Jessica Stam, and that is a real catwalk fall, bless her cotton socks! (I think in NY a few years back. If you googe her you should get a youtube vid)

But look at the shoes they're wearing... in two they've got to be 7-8 inches high, and in 3 shes balancing on something about the circumference of my little finger! They rarely fit because they're samples and all made the same size weeks in advance, when casting only happens a few days before.

they're asked to do obscure things...(one year at victor and rolf models had heavy lighting attached to them and had to walk down a catwalk they couldn't really see in the pitch black with music blaring at them, in a room full of people... this year at chanel models had to walk down a catwalk 'inspired by the melting ice glaciers', basically, in a freezing room in a couple of inches f water, waling around a huge ice installation.)

Given those factor and the fact there are 100's of shows every season i think it's a wonder more women don't fall!
