So this guy spent days plotting, creating and uploading fantasy land pictures of Barack Obama being the best American of all time. When will the honeymoon be over? Also, pictures of any politician doing these things would piss me off, unless it was Jesse Ventura or Arnold.

lulz0rz. Maybe in my demented LSD and ecstasy driven fantasy world. He won’t accomplish anything.

They should have one that says:

Barack throws wads of cash at ignorant a**holes!

This seems to be satirical in nature as a significant part of the population believed Obama to be a one man savior. Putting over confidence in his ability because he seems to be different then the old regime. But really, when it comes down to it, Obama’s effect with be negligible at best.

I saw some of these at a cafe in Philadelphia last year. My favourite was one that said, “Obama’s magic tears cure men’s incompetence!” And there was also one that was a parody of the album cover for The Flaming Lip’s “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots.” They’re great works; they had my sister and I cracking up! Glad to see there are more!

    BO: Extended UE benefits
said no to our out of control allies Israel
resumed talks with Cuba and allowing Cuban Americans to visit their relatives
Restored respect among the world that the US once again has an intelligent and rational president.
    Education reform

On the agenda: revoking don’t ask; don’t tell
Affordable health care for all Americans

  14. shaaronie
    March 25th, 2010 at 04:29

Please don’t bother telling me that the health care bill actually forces americans to buy health care or be penalized (it doesn’t provide it for free and doesn’t let you opt out).

Also please don’t bring up things like how many troops we still have in the Middle East, how pro-Israel we still are as a country, how electing a leader because the rest of the world thinks he’s cool is a terrible reason to elect anyone, how he claims to want bipartisanship but had to bend over backwards just to get his personal agenda pushed into action by his own party (with absolutely no bipartisanship at all), or anything like that. I’d hate to have to put some independent thought into my answers.

At least Obama is trying to protect the health of Americans instead of starting wars in the middle east and killing them.

i think this is a republican using sarcasm cause some people are thinking of obama as the greatest thing ever. he will be a great prsident soon but i think people are counting there chickens before they hatch he hasent done that much yet except Healthcare. he definantly didnt deserve the nobel prize.

    @shaaronie

As a Canadian, I can tell you that this is the biggest things he did. The world respect for the United States went up HUGE after Obama was elected. Although after electing Bush twice we frankly doubted American’s were intelligent enough to actually elect Obama. How anyone can think Bush was intelligent enough to be president (let alone TWICE!) is beyond -well, anyone who lives in any other country in the world apparently!

Fill you are a just a little off with this statement. The absolute first thing that Obama did when he entered office was to send troops to Afghanistan. This was within the first week of being president. What about bringing the troops home and ending the calamity like he campaigned? I thinks its absolutely ridiculous that he wins a Nobel Peace Prize when he is just as much of a war monger-er as Bush.

What about all the rolling back of the patriot act, stopping unlawful wiretaps or making government actually accountable? All that Obama has done is continue the same ludicrous laws and regulations that the Bush administration started.

Please open your minds and quite following the status quo.

dudes. this is most likely a project given by some innane american history teacher to make up a historical super hero. Being subject to such a project I say that everyone should shut up and know that we arent delusional that the people we admire are this awesome and perfect. this person obviously admires barack. whats wrong with that? i did mine on al gore. he had an led lightbuld as a sidekick and captian planet like super powers. i know hes just as much a gas guzzling american as the next but there is nothing wrong with a little satirical admiration and use of hyberbole. so please remember. its a project and funny at that. get over it.

obama has some of the worst approval ratings of all time. You people are ignorant and just like him because he campaigned well and sucked you into believing his “change” would be good. How do you like that change now? he has not done anything to better this country he is just a black bush but no one has the balls to say so because it is “racist” if you hate against him. it has nothing to do with the color of his skin and everything to do with “changing” the country. well i “hope” he does better because he isnt doing so well now. and yeah all you ignorant people who say what about health care and all the other things he has done like creating jobs? EEEERRRRR!! wrong. health care is just going to make this country go further into debt and give health care to illegals. great job obama.

SERIOUSLY, GUYZ? These pictures weren’t made as political statements. They’re just funny. Imagining Barack saving the last unicorn from Abu Ghraib is FUNNY! Not realistic. Not made with to persuade you to love Obama. So whether you like him, please pull your American flagpole out of your ass and realize that not everything is meant to turn into a political argument.

Mike – the independent stats have shown that healthcare reform will save the US about a trillion dollars over the next 20 years. At the moment, the US spends double its GDP on healthcare compared to other countries, and all for a system in which 1 in 6 people aren’t covered and the insurers can take away cover when you are dying, just to save themselves a few bucks.

But hey, don’t let a few facts get in the way of your ranting.

If only for healthcare alone, Obama has already done more than 8 years of Bush. If he gets through his financial regulation and energy reform ideas, he will go down as the most sane president in recent US history. Which isn’t saying much, but hey.

It seems moreso, to me, to be mocking the people who claim that liberals/Democrats thought of Obama as any sort of savior/messiah. That’s nothing but a right-wing meme.

In any sense, it was funny. I don’t really think the joke is on the liberals, though.
