I really liked the 2012 one, I put that as my facebook status, but I left out the 9/11 part. I don’t think I have a right to say that since I wasn’t there.

I don’t think that any disrespect was meant – I think that it was more of a compilation of what the American people have gone through, both the terrible and the slightly superstitious. 9/11 wasn’t being compared with Y2K, it was simply being named in the same list of what the American people have seen. Try to approach life with a less righteous standing. You might learn something.

I wish I could “like” some of these comments. Some however are stooooopid. I’m totally with the saying “terrorism is the war of the poor and powerless, war is the terrorism of the rich and powerful” I also enjoy “one mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter” there are many sayings like this all of them prove true. While I am 150% against one man killing another. I am also against ignorance fighting for a higher power fueled by greed. The dude that speaks of yankees burning atlanta, good god man that was more then 150yrs ago. I’m not American, but I think ya’ll (and not all of you just some) have too much to fight for and not enough brain to even realise what ur fighting for.

If you feel that strongly, why dont you take off your rose tinted glasses and pulling on the trouser leg of the real people that caused your inner anger (men in suits with brief cases you vote for) you cant stop greed but you can change a need. think bout that the next time you turn over the engine on your car.

I can take a joke but the costume idea is not a joke…it’s rude and disrespectful. I am eager for this war to be over and feel a pain for each innocent that loses their life or is injured. However, it hurts just as much to know that it didn’t take even 10 years for the feelings of 9/11 to dissipate. How quickly forgotten is the fear and justified anger? When do we feel justice has been served? America was attacked and Americans defend the enemy and make comments like we don’t know how to take a joke (or a bombing apparently) How are we supposed to take a bombing (or multiple bombings) I would like to know?
These pictures were not meant to be a political statement. They were meant to be enjoyed but I cannot keep silent after reading a lot of the comments. This is just my opinion and each is entitled to their own thanks to soldiers who fight terrorism.

And Bin Ladin is filthy stinking rich. Don’t be fooled into thinking terrorists are all poor. They recruit the poor, but they are led by rich fat cats, just like everyone else.
