@Tamy No, men don't need to "check the blind spot" because, just like most people, most men are capable of positioning their mirror in their car (because the picture shows a car, not a ridiculous SUV, van or truck) so that they can SEE everything. I've never owned a car that I had to owl my head around to check to see if a car was near me. Also, yes, putting makeup on IN MY CAR is absurdly annoying. That's why I found a girl who realizes that makeup is absurd, and doesn't wear it. So nice to date an ACTUAL feminist, and not an idiot.

Can’t people just stop crying about gender roles and grow up? Just be respectful of each other and accept the fact that though men and women ARE different this doesn’t mean that either is less valuable. Equal rights is a completely different concept from equality.

I love how you can tell who the feminists are by there posts. lol

But yeah, not completely true anymore. It is to a certain extent though. I honestly dont remember the last time I enjoyed a date just sitting there watching someone put on make up. Probably because I never did.

But it also gos for the guys. I try to make sure the shaving and combing is done before the date.

Most of these seem to be *what should be* standard social ettiquite for both genders, not just women. On a date or not, I’m going to have more control than to put my makeup on in the rearview, stick my finger in my friend’s ear, tousle a strange man’s hair, or fall into a drunken slumber at a restaurant.

The only offense I would take to this is that this implies only women are capable of this behavior- unless there were a similar set of tips for men available a link away.

Okay this is just ridiculous. It is very discouraging for humankind. I understand that things were different in 1938, but the sad truth is that this still exists today both in the open and in social subtexts. What we need is a consistency in equality, not reminiscent clippings that enforce gender roles and sexism.

Either someone has a really bad scanner (meaning text selective), or is stupid with their photoshop. The text is blue and the rest of the page is brown. It would have all been printed in the same ink.
