What’s more awesome – doing a fancy wedding the way someone else would like it, or doing a wedding the way that you and your spouse-to-be want it?

It’s genuine for them, and that makes it awesome.

Well we’ve gotten to the point where t-shirts are about as long and awful as can be worn. So the only place to go is up right? Unless people will start wearing Ebeneezer scrooge bed pajamas as t-shirts.

People can do whatever they want, and they can expect criticism for things done that look like shoddy reproductions of a tradition. Don’t want to follow tradition or the crowd? good for you. And the crowd expresses hatred for your ideas? Good for them. No winning this argument. I will say this, this wedding actually lacks creativity rather than bringing it to the table.

For example the groom didn’t do anything creative. The groom would have looked awesome in the outfit the minister is wearing. I’m betting the groom didn’t ask anyone for any kind of advice on looking posh. Older black men often dress really nice. But he didn’t have the inclination to look into that.

And the airbrushing isn’t all that good. I’ve seen better airbrushing done by a guy in hawaii, I’m not kidding in like 48 seconds, he did amazing work. But real original good work is expensive. And so is the traditional wedding with all it’s paid elements.

I’m a little depressed looking at this wedding. But I’d be easily made happy to know if the couple makes it to 50 year anniversary. A little elegance is nice. Perhaps some of the words said at this wedding were elegant enough. We’ll never know.

I’ll be one thing. They will NOT look back on these pictures of the wedding design fondly once they grow out of some of the phase they are in. They’ll be embarrassed.

This is absolutely Ghetto-fabulous. I agree the color scheme is nice, but come on. I do believe the concept derived because the would-be groom: 1) didn’t have the money for a tuxedo, 2) didn’t want to wear a suit except when he dies (if even then), 3)talked the would-be bride into it because it would be cool, affordable and everybody could be in the wedding. I say affordable, but I think the best adjective for the lack of want would have to be CHEAP.

IF two people have love for each other what other people think will not matter and this service meant a great deal to these two individuals and their friends and family wether you view it as tacky or cheap or ghetto. People are so judgemental no wonder we cant get along with each other.

If they’re both happy with it then whatever, but personally I don’t like that kind of style at the best of times, let alone at a wedding of all places. But look at the bride in any of those pictures and she doesn’t actually look particularly happy. But if she loves him anyways so be it.

sure classy! this is the “culture” we are supposed to embrace? no thanks! notice how none of the “bride’s” family showed up? my guess is that she is a hooker and the groom is her pimp, he will be putting her back on the street just as soon as their motel6 honeymoon is finished.

no doubt the groom has passed her around to all his family and posse, should make for an exciting edition of a maury povich show

what is really disturbing are the number of posts that try to excuse or justify this ghetto wedding, and worse are the ones actually praising it, “awesome”??? you are as pathetic as the bride and groom

Ahhh, the sanctity of marriage. No wonder the “bride” already has ten kids, probably by 11 different fathers.
