While the author’s grasp of the motivations of historical actors may be a bit weak, he or she has clearly mastered the chronology of events in the grand sweep of American history. Since most American high school students can’t match this achievement, I’m guessing this person received a foreign education. Also, the artwork is poignant in its plea for a return to simplicity in this complex modern age.
